Bloom menopause care
Meet Dr Michelle
Michelle Cliffe is a GP in Nelson, who is particularly good at helping people with perimenopause and menopause care.
She set up Bloom Menopause Care, a small clinic dedicated to this particular area of family medicine. Michelle asked Wordshop to build her a website.
Soft, serious, caring
The challenge was to strike the balance between gentle, caring imagery and language; and conveying Dr Michelle’s experience and serious chops as a menopause doctor.
We started by speaking with Michelle, discovering the things that are important to her and her patients, then we wrote all core website content from scratch. We also created a series of elegant flower icons, which could be used to illustrate the website.
Creating time
One super important aspect of the website is the booking system. Michelle wanted this to be as simple as possible for her to manage, and for her patients to book.
Michelle was already familiar with the Acuity Scheduling software. Acuity is a Squarespace product, and we had opted to build this website in WordPress. No problem! We incorporated the Acuity booking form directly into the WordPress site for a seamless user experience.

Results
Bookings at the new Bloom Menopause Care clinic have been steady, and Michelle has had great feedback about the website and easy booking system.
We have already undertaken some other small projects for Bloom, and are looking forward to the next.
